Overall vision
A part of the vision I believe the Lord has given me for my life is to be in missions for the rest of my life and to see Latinos and Mexicans be sent into the Nations to share the Gospel! I know Mexico is my home and I want to fight for the people and country the Lord has given me. I am passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission and seeing Jesus come back soon! I believe in the Christian Magna Carta, and that every tribe, tongue and people deserve the Bible in their Mother Tongue. There is a ministry on our campus called OMT (Oral Mother Tongue Translation) which I see as a part of the Father's heart for all His children. This ministry helps indigenous communities translate the Bible into their Mother Tongue by recording the oral pronunciation. I hope to be able to be more directly involved in this ministry soon, and go on a OMT trip when the timing is right!
My Story
In September of 2025 I will be joining a couple that really invested in me when I first started at YWAM Mazatlan, Yosef and Danica Vega. A couple years ago when they left YWAM Mazatlan to go pioneer a YWAM base in Melbourne Australia they invited me to go with them to join their team. At the time I felt the pull to go, but I knew it wasn't the right time so I put it on the back burner and waited to see if the Lord would speak about it again. In a conference in 2023 the Lord spoke to me again reassuring me that it was indeed Him who told me to go, but it wasn't the time yet. So in 2024 I felt the word "September" and began to pray about what that meant. Then came 2025 when staffing the DTS January of that year, I felt the green light to go ahead and make plans to go to Australia in September of 2025. I am excited for this new step of faith that is so big to me I can't see where my feet will land. I am glad to help to pioneer with dear friends and other leaders in a country I've never been to! The Lord has been so FAITHFUL and I expect nothing less than our Great King!
After being in Australia for about 5 months, I will return to Mazatlan Mexico to continue working with YWAM Mazatlan!
Then in the future I plan to be on a pioneering team to go plant a YWAM base in Hermosillo Sonora! I have felt that I would be part of this vision of bringing a YWAM base to this beautiful city for a few years now. I still don't know when, how, or with who this vision come to be, but I am preparing myself for when the Lord says to GO!
